HOW TO GET A FREE PLAYSTATION 3 REPAIR
We at PS-Pros understand your frustration with your broken console. We here are all fellow gamers and we understand that your console failure is a manufacture defect.
As a courtesy we have helped many of our customers have their console repaired for free. Because of the Sale of Goods Act 1979, you the customer have the right to make a claim for faulty goods purchased within 6 years of purchase (5 for Scotland). By claiming this with the retailer you purchased the goods from, they will likely reimburse repair costs.
So how does this work?
Upon request, we will provide at no charge an Engineer's report with any paid repair. In detail, it describes your fault and explains how it is the fault of the manufacturer and not you the customer. In addition, we will also provide a template of a letter that can be sent to the store purchased to request reimbursement. It will also detail your rights as the consumer and detail the specific fault of your console.
